About Me

My name is Sophie King;
I'm an Illustrator and food lover from the UK.

If anyone knows me well enough, they know I'm a savvy bargain hunter and always out looking for the best deal. This even applies to food, especially since living with my partner, Lewis, and having a budget to abide by. I wanted to create this blog to share my weekly shops, recipes and bargain finds as well as comparing non-branded foods against their expensive counterparts. I mainly shop in Lidls and Tesco but do occasional venture to Poundland, B&M and other stores depending where the bargain lies.

I have a food budget of £30 to spend on weekly food shopping including Breakfast, packed lunches and dinners. This may also include household supplies like cleaning products and toiletries. I usually spend around £20-£25 but try to get the shopping as cheap as possible. I don't think I've ever hit the £30 mark. I'd like to use this blog to share with you what I spend and how I use it.
